Gelatin & Aspirin Mask
(deep cleansing home treatment for greasy skin)

  • Crush aspirin tablet into powder and dissolve it in little water.
  • Dissolve gelatin in 2 tablespoons of boiling water.
  • Pour the mixture into a small bowl set over a pan of simmering water.
  • Add dissolved aspirin mixture, and glycerin, and stir.
  • Remove from heat, add honey, and let cool to a comfortable temperature.

  • Spread the mixture evenly over face.
  • Avoid sensitive eye area.
  • Leave on for about 20 minutes.
  • Let the mask dry and harden.
  • Soak a wash cloth in warm water and lay over the face.
  • When the mask starts to soften up, gently rub it with the cloth in a circular motion.
  • Rinse with cool water and pat dry.
